Astrology

The study of this science (Astrology) is also known as “JyotishShastra” The indication of astrological traditions is visible in the Atharva-veda which is one amid the holy texts of India. It does rely more on the positions of Navagrahas, the moon, the sun and the constellation and can be thought of as quiet rational in nature, which includes plenty of detailed calculations to get on to suitable astrological predictions and insight.

Health and disease are integrally related to astrology. Even the famous Greek physician, Hippocrates, maintained that it is essential to look into the natal chart of a patient before embarking on any course of treatment, especially if surgery is required.

The constellations or Nakshatras that are studied in Indian Vedic Astrology or Jyotish-vidya are based on the approximate number of days that the Moon takes to complete a cycle with respect to the stars. The Vimshottari dasha in ancient Indian Vedic Astrology predicts the moon’s position as per the Lunar calendar employed for centuries in the Indian tradition. This is also used to calculate Muhurtas, or auspicious time in Indian Vedic Astrology to begin any job/ enterprise or initiate any relationship.

This age-old and reliable system of Indian Vedic Astrology considers the movement of two luminaries namely the Sun and the Moon, five major planets, i.e., Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Venus and Jupiter, and the two nodal points of the Moon, namely Rahu and Ketu.

Vedic Astrology not only gives insight to know all about the individual but it also helps to find solution for every problem. In the astrological consultation remedies are more important than predictions. Predictions are only to gain the confidence of the client or to educate the client with coming events but every individual needs to have proper solution of their complications.

No remedies are sufficient to rectify the dosha of our life’s karmas but the remedies will be helpful to reduce the intensity. One cannot stop the rain but certainly use the umbrella. It may not save your feet from getting wet but that hardly matters. But never forget that your effort to use the umbrella is must. Good heart and good deeds has great value.
